Nothing. You've done what you've done. All you can do now is stay out of trouble and lead a clean life into the future.

Added: As far as ridding yourself of your ENTIRE criminal record, the above answer is essentially correct. HOWEVER - all states have some form of an expungement statute that may allow you to rid yourself of one particular offense (usually per lifetime) but you will have to research your own state's statutes and find out if you, or your offense, is even eligible (e.g.: capital crimes, sex offenses [especially if against children] - domestic violence - FEDERAL offenses - etc) are not eligible).

you can only get something taken off a criminal record if a court judge proves that you are innocent and that the charge was incorrect. if you really did do the crime/you were found guilty at court or appeal you are stuck with that record forever - sorry!

You can not EXPUNGE your entire criminal record, only one offense at a time. To request an expungement of your STATE criminal record: You must have either been acquited or served the complete term of your sentence - then submit a petition to the court setting forth good reason(s) why your request should be granted. A judge will review your petition and the circumstances of your case and issue a ruling either granting or denying the request. AN EXPUNGEMENT IS NOT A PARDON! Law enforcement, the courts, and government agencies will always have access to your actual 'true' record. Expungement only removes the record of your offense from being viewed by the public.

It depends on the crime, in most states you need to go to the courthouse and petition the court, even if it was scheduled to be removed you usually need to physically go there and request that it be. If it was a serious crime the judge may decide not to remove it from your record.

Another View: If it was a federal offense you will have to contact the US Attorneys Office in your jurisdiction to determine the proper procedure. Federal expungements are RARELY granted.

If it was a state offense - ALL states have differing requirements and procedures. Unless you can respond back to WA with your particular state you will have to research your own state's laws.

Not all offenses are expungable (e.g.: homicide - sex offenses - domestic violence - etc.), and there is no guarantee that if you file for it, that it will be granted.

It is strongly suggested that you consult an attorney for further information, this is NOT a do-it-yourself project.
