How can you modify my cat's litter box placement now that she is blind. It is up high so my dog will not get into it?

Rather than placing it up high, why not enclose it instead? Litter boxes come with lockable lids. Or you could put it behind a sheet of cardboard. Or, you could put the box inside a small dog cage with the door removed or left open. Just make sure you bring her to the box every few hours for several days so she learns where it is; let her walk back out herself.
