It's possible to play Xbox games through an emulator, but the only ones that exist are still very primitive, only playing a select few tested games at varying success. Some developers are only showcasing their progress thus far, with little to no access to the program itself to play/test running games. It's definitely not at a stage where you can use the emulator to casually play your games. But only time will tell!
Keep in mind, emulation of this system would also require a pretty decent PC with dedicated graphics to run smoothly. The requirements could be much higher depending on how accurate, and how optimized the emulator is.
If you must play these games, you will need to buy the actual system, and the games, or play some of the popular ones that run on the Xbox 360, furthermore, if you can pick up a modchip and install it (or get someone to), it's possible to run homebrew software and download (illegal of course, I'm sure people REALLY get steamed when you download their 8 year old xbox games that you can only find on eBay)/burn games to DVD-R, enabling quite a bit of content.
Anyway, if you're still interested in Xbox emulation use Google, or check out:

∙ 12y agoYou can't, it's impossible. Xbox 360 games are made for the Xbox 360, not PC. They both have very different hardware infrastructure, so software made for 360 would not be compatible.
It may be possible in the future, as PCs become faster though. You may have heard of emulators that run NES games - they get away with this because modern PCs are fast enough to emulate the hardware of those old systems. Xbox 360 is not old, immensly faster than NES, and millions of times more complex. If it were possible to emulate Xbox 360 it would most likely take years of work and research and only run on the top supercomputers of today.

∙ 11y agoFirst of all you have to check if your PC or laptop has a HDMI port or not.
(There is a link at the bottom of the page click it to see what a HDMI port looks like)
If you PC/laptop does have a HDMI port than this should work not only with the Xbox but also with the PS3 and a laptop>PC connection
WARNING: do not insert the other end of the HDMI cable into the CPU as this can cause major memory dysfunctions. Please insert one end into the Xbox and the other in the Monitor(screen). Thank you
Just simply COPY+PASTE this link into the address box above:

∙ 12y agoThe only way you could play a PC game on an Xbox is if there already exists an Xbox version. PC-only games cannot be played on an Xbox. While some homebrew emulators that exist are capable of running non-Xbox games on the Xbox (DOS, Consoles etc), no such emulator can run modern PC games.

∙ 12y agoYou really can't. None of the Xbox emulators can do more than simply display an intro for a game or two if even that. You have to play Xbox games on an Xbox for the time being.

∙ 13y agoNo, the Xbox 360 will only play Xbox 360 games and some original Xbox games.

what!?!?!?! Yes if a Xbox live member also has the PC game and a PC you will be able to play with a Xbox Live member, when he is using his PC You can not even get on X box live so how do you think you could play someone in a game on Xbox Live when you are on the PC. The games are not compatible even if you were on the same network. Could you put a Xbox 360 game in your computer and play it. No you could not. So why do you think that they could play each other. The Xbox 360 player also could not put the PC game in his Xbox 360 and play it because it is not compatible. The same applies to the other platforms

No you can not play xbox on line with PC.
Unfortunately, you do have to have an Xbox Live Gold Subscription. However, if you have a 360, you can share your Gold with your PC. Well, you need a gold subscription to play online if you want to play with people who play it on the 360 as well as the PC, but you can play online PC to PC with just a silver account which is free. At least that is what i have heard.
No you can't do this. Unless you are using a game specifically made by Microsoft to play from a PC with Xbox live users. (EG: shadowrun)
No the game is not cross-platform online, so people play the PC version together and people play the Xbox 360 version together, but a PC and Xbox 360 cannot play together on the same server.
