I just bought a 1996 2.0 ghia with remote locking however the remote still doesn't work so if you figure that out after the battery, will be much appritiated! its a CR2016 by the way

Group size 78, but my 1996 Regal had a group size 75 in it when I got it 2 years ago and it has been fine. Size 75 was the standard battery for 1995 but was increased to size 78 for 1996. Many of the newer size 75's are actually stronger than the old 78's, so you can probably get away with a 75 which is a little smaller and lighter.
hi, it depends on what or if any damage has been caused by over heating, i.e head warping , valve damage ,etc, also depending what engine the car has, a straight swop with cleaning the faces , about 3hours depending on your skill level. regards john.
