The official language of Bahrain is Arabic. In Proper Arabic, the way to ask "What is your name?" would be "Ma esmak?" (ما اسمك؟) However, in Bahrain, like all Arabic-speaking countries uses dialect as opposed to Proper Arabic for day-to-day communications. In Bahraini dialect, the question is more likely "Shnu esmak?" (شنو اسمك؟).
