Activate the field list
The detail is normally elsewhere in the workbook. It could be in the current worksheet or another one, or sourced externally. You can find it by initiating the Pivot Table Wizard. You can access it by right clicking on the pivot table. As the pivot table is already in place it will start the wizard at a later stage, typically stage 3. If you click on the Back button to go to stage 2, you will see what the source of the data is.
