They generally will float in the water in stead of sink and if not in water then they won't move.
Or you can try this:
Poke his eye softly with a stick, finger, or something thin. I tried that with my turtle a few minutes ago because he wasn't moving. When I poked his eye with the tip of a mechanical pencil, he closed his eye and sunk his head further back into his shell.

∙ 13y agoI found mine on his back and his blue color on belly and throat was gone stomach sunk in and was stiff and ha eyes seemed sunk in as well.

∙ 13y agoIf you know for sure it is a girl and you want to know if it is pregnant, you pick it up and fell her stomach if she is pregnant you will be able to fell the eggs...... hope this helps!
