How do you know if you're really over someone or just in denial?

When you think your over someone and you "move on" you know ur in denial when you still say stories that involve him or when something bad happens or good and the first person you think to tell is him/her. Or when you hear they have found someone else and all you want to do is cry/or cry when you saying your happy for them. If your really over someone you could walk up to them at a mall or in store say hi and be unphased by the incounter. And genuinely think I hope all is well with them and move on with your day. If you werent over them that incounter would haunt you for the rest of the day.

∙ 12y agowhen you wake up in the morning, he or she is not the first person you think of. when you close your eyes at night before you go to sleep he or she is not the last person you think of. when you think of better days ahead they do not incorporate having this person in your life. when it doesnt matter what he or she does on a daily basis, all that matters is you and your life. when you walk down the street where you have been with this person you do not automatically think of him or her.when you feel no pain,just sometimes fleeting thoughts of happy moments and memories that you may have had. keep the happy moments, and let go of the past. when you move on and you are happy with yourself and there may even be a moment of a day that you may think of this person for a second, but that's all. and then even better you'll wake up one day and it'll be a perfect day, and then you'll realise that you didnt think of this person at all all day..

∙ 12y agowell coming from a girl, sometimes you cant tell just by actions or from the outside. Sometimes you just have to go up to her and express yourself to her face and then ask her how she feels about you or ask her if she feels the same. Girls like a guy that isn't afraid to express his feelings especially straight to their face. So my advice is to go talk to her, good luck.
