How can you tell if a teenager is a sociopath?
Aren't they all in certain situations? === === If you're completely serious, then it is probably wise to listen to what other teenagers say about that person. I am a teenager and I have seen a perfect example of a sociopath before. Every other teen around me could feel the tension, too. Usually, a sociopath teen would be unpopular, often times bullied, in school. They also exhibit signs of violent intentions such as a fascination with gore, animal killing, and being violent minded in general. Most school shooters are keep-to-themselves loners, and have a pessimistic view on society.
"You are a sociopath." However, if they truly are, it won't matter to that person.
Unless a sociopath is professionally diagnosed, you cannot tell that person that he/she is a sociopath. And the chances of one going to get a diagnosis are virtually nil. And DO NOT tell others that you think he/she is a sociopath in case it gets back to the person. Since a sociopath has no conscience, and since only self matters to a sociopath, he/she can be vindictive and even litigious when it comes to being… Read More
Sociopaths do not believe when you tell them and it may be very dangerous. Get help.
You cant unless you have the instruments. Sociopaths are exelent lieers sO you cant just walk up to them and ask HEY ARE YOU A SOCIOPATH!
There is none, they'r the same
Tell the police and get them to give a verbal warning
You have to remember that a teenager is a person. Just like with any person, you ask the teenager what they like. they will tell you. if they don't tell you, tell them you want to make them a dish special that they will like. then they will tell you. make something that they like. they will be interested.
if they are seriously a sociopath take them to get help and then let them know you wanna end it.. i think itd be alittle dangerous to flat out tell them. hope this helps!
Definitely tell people! They need to know!
next time she flips out, call the cops and tell them that you feel your life is in danger. there really isn't a way to convince them. i am truly sorry that you have a sociopath in your house.

A sociopath is someone who doesn't care about other people's feelings. A deviant sociopath isn't in any psychology text that I can find. But here are some things that you might be referring to: A sociopath who is abnormal in some way. This would be any sociopath who doesn't fit the exact definition of a sociopath. If a deviant sociopath is just your name for a sociopath. See top. An unpredictable sociopath. A sociopath who… Read More
If you believe your spouse is a sociopath and you have an infant together and a pending divorce should you fight for sole custody of the infant child?
If you feel your child is in danger than I would say yes but if you feel he is a sociopath than maybe you might want to consider consulting your question towards a professional who could tell you the safest way of going about dealing with a sociopath.
Given the fact you needed to ask this, I wouldn't worry about being one. A sociopath (which isn't a very good medical term, it's called antisocial personality disorder) is aware of their differences and employ them for their own benefit. If you were a sociopath, you would be pursuing some immoral if not illegal endeavor, not asking people for help in diagnosing yourself.
No. A doctor will keep the confidentiality of the patient unless they feel the teenager is in danger or if a crime has been committed.
in there days probably 10 but when that child turn a teenager look at the line at the bottom it will also tell you, :) :) :) :)
tell your parents that you need it and it is very important to you Just tell them why.
Although i haven't seen it done, i'm sure it could be. All that would need to be done is to watch the brain of a person who is, and one who isn't a sociopath, in a social environment. any differences would be tell tail signs
No. Sociopaths have no conscience. The victim of a sociopath has a conscience and emotions and will not become a sociopath. If the victim of a sociopath is acting different it is probably because of the abuse the victim is enduring from the sociopath. If you have any more questions I would be happy to answer. Based on personal experience, I believe this is accurate.
As an anemic teenager, I can tell you that iron-enriched foods such as leafy, green veggies and red meat should be suitable
It is better that they know so that they know what they're dealing with. They should only be told if a professional diagnosis has been reached. Tell them the truth so that they are protected.
If you like her, I highly doubt she's a sociopath, but ask her if she's afraid of commitment and shes more than likely to tell you.
NOW THEN. You have to tell them to get the frak out of your house.
Give them a copy of "The Sociopath Next Door"
No, that's the definition of a sociopath.
Sociopaths are very charming and they will tell you anything that you want to hear so long as they can then have you relying on them. This reliance is a weakness, they can abuse it to make sure that you do as they wish. It becomes a relationship of the abused who comes to rely on the sociopath, and the sociopath who uses the reliance to fulfil their own aims. There is also the issue… Read More

My older sister is a sociopath.
There is some controversy. My stance is that you are biologically born a sociopath, however some believe you become a sociopath by how you were raised.
You don't. Get as far away from a sociopath as you possibly can.
**This question is incomplete** A sociopath can be many things.

If you are a sociopath then you don't love.
There is no known cure or effective treatment for a true sociopath.
Anyone of any age can be a Sociopath.
Yes, if the sociopathy is unrevealed. No, if she is known to be a sociopath.

Well, what you need to do is HELP you teenager! You want to make sure, that your teenager is on track and not falling behind. If he/she is falling behind, well you need to get help, meaning get a tutor, tell you teenager to ask for help, send him/her to after school tutoring, private tutoring ETC. Seeing what your teenager is doing to may help.
The closest disorder to sociopathy, Antisocial Personality Disorder, is. When a psychiatrist treats a sociopath he/she says that the sociopath has Antisocial Personality Disorder.
Just because she is "female" doesnt mean anything. A sociopath is a sociopath and the only way to "deal" with them is to stay as far away as possible.
No, one should never marry a sociopath. Marriage involves trust, and a sociopath by his very nature cannot ever be trusted completely.
No, not a sociopath. He was mentally ill for a period of time which made him vulnerable to disease. this made an infection to the leg. Not a sociopath but many believed he was a mentally scared psycopath
Just being a sociopath isn't illegal. You'll have to wait for the sociopath to perform an illegal act at which you can report the person to the police and wait for the legal system to do its thing.
