How do you know if someone considers you to be her best friend?

Dont be afraid to ask them yourself and don't stress thinking about it! If they say yes then that is great! If they say no look on the bright side! As from experience you will not feel the pressure you feel when you become best friends! You will not feel if they walk away with someone they are dumping you and you will not be pressured to be with them all the time!

hey i met this girl a bout a week and we have been texting a lot. she is pretty cute and she seemed to like me. we flirted a lot and got really close. we went to the shops one day and we just sat around then it got to the point where i couldn't stop my self from asking her out so i did it. she then looked at me and asked if she could think, then we made out for a little bit so i though she liked me and would say yes. she then said later that she doesn't want to go out as she loves me as one of her best friends and didn't want to wreck out friend ship. but since then she has stopped texting me so much and i think it wreck out friend ship :(. could people help with a few ways i could get her back to one of my best friends??

You can tell when they're you're best friend because they're there for you no matter what happens. But in every individual's life, no matter what age, you will have friends that will come and go. Trust me, no one has a friendship with no arguments. Get close to your best friend, get to know more about him/her. Sit back and relax! Dont let anything bug you!

Hey, why are you asking us? Its different for just about anyone. What do you really need in a best friend? Laughs as well as someone to turn to, someone who is like you but not exactly the same? Or do you just want someone you can trust to talk to? But remember how ever perfect this girl/boy is they're still human and they are bound to make mistakes. -you are able to talk to that person about anything

-that person opens himself/herself to you, regardless of the topic

-you both know what each other is thinking or feeling just by exchanging glances

-hanging out with each other can just be talking

-you are confident that you can count on that person for anything

-most importantly, you are comfortable with being yourself in front of him/her

- this person will not value others over you

- you feel like you trust the person to have your back through troubles, not necessarily fights
