Feel around your breast, squeeze a tiny bit, and feel around for a lump, if there is one, there is a chance you do have cancer. If you find one, dont freak out, it might not even be cancer. Just go to your doctor and let him check it out, then they might do blood tests to make sure.

∙ 12y agoPerform a monthly breast exam. If you find something out of the ordinary, say a nodule or lump of some type, check various positions to see if you can still feel it. If this is the first time you feel something you could either contact your physician, if the lump is small, and maybe check in a few weeks or so. If what you might feel is large then it probably would be smart to contact your doctor. If cancer is prevalent in close family members, it probably would be smart to have it checked no matter what the size of the lump. If the physician determines it is suspicious then there is usually a protocol physicians follow to determine cancer. If the lump is fast growing by all means seek expert advice immediately. Some breast cancers rapidly grow and metastasize. If you are really concerned, no matter whether you find a lump or not, discuss with your doctor. He or she will advise you about mammograms, etc. Women often find the cancers first through their own breast checks.
