You need to gear up for this one. I have to say that there is a big chance that they will reject you. Friendship means a lot more than a romantic relationship; they might not want to loose it. If you still want to tell them then get them alone and explain that although you love them as a friend that recently you have started to get new feelings for them, feelings stronger than friendship. Think this through; you could end up losing a good friend.
