This is a list of things you change:

1. Fuel filter 2. Spark plugs (make sure to get proper plugs and gap them properly) 3. Spark plug wires 4. Distributor cap 5. Distributor rotor 6. PCV valve

Also you should:

1. Clean you Carb or intake with a can of carb spray 2. If fuel injected you should take it to a mechanic and have them perform a fuel injector purge.
