The fuel filter is under the car, mounted in front of the fuel tank on a Dodge Shadow.
there is no such car as a 1992 dodge avenger, so i guess you don't remove one.

Remove the 1992 Dodge Dakota inside door panel. The door handle mechanism will be visible. Remove the door handle linkage. Remove the door handle retaining bolts.

Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches. The fuel system is computer controlled with relays.

haah on the steering wheel! Horn on my 1992 Dodge Shadow 2.2 non turbo is located in the engine compartment, passenger side to the left of the AC compressor bolted to the chassis.

The gap for the 2.2L and 2.5L is .035 according to the hood label.
not equiped you are going to have to use the seat belt to hold it in the seat.
If it has a distributor, it might be the pickup inside the distributor.
remove the spark plug wires,cap,rotor,hall effect ,there is a small clamp with a 13mm bolt holding the distributer down remove that and there you go....but mark where the rotor was somewhere on the block that way you wont have to reset the timing
What torque specs do you need? Also, what size is your motor and manual or auto tranny?
lots of screws, lots of time, and a little prying.
