Charon (the largest of Pluto's three known moons) is sufficiently large in comparison to Pluto, that the centre of mass is outside the body of Pluto. This leads some astronomers to refer to Pluto and Charon as a "double planet". Pluto's other two moons, Hydra and Nix, are small enough to be held by the combined gravity.
If you mean the dwarf planet, it does exist; nobody said it didn't, they just said it didn't deserve to be called by the same name we use for objects like Jupiter.
If you mean Mickey Mouse's dog, he doesn't exist because he's a fictional character. He supposedly belongs to a talking mouse, for God's sake; how clear do we have to be that his movies aren't documentaries?
If you mean the Roman god, he doesn't exist because he's a myth, which is more or less "a fictional character that a lot of people believed in".
Probably for the same reason that the rest of the Solar System exists. The Sun, the planets, the asteroids, and the comets, were formed by a gravitational collapse of some kind of interstellar cloud, approximately 4.6 billion years ago.
Pluto does exist. it's just that the IAU declared it was not a planet.
it does not exist because it is has no value like number 0
No-one knows why, we just observe them, make measurements and find out everything we can. Science does not answer the 'why?' question, that is more a question of theology.
No. While frozen methane, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen do exist on Pluto, they are not metals.
Neptune and Pluto
The planet Pluto contain mostly (98 %) solid nitrogenș as minor components exist methane, carbon monoxide and water.
no. Answer: This question cannot be answered without a visit and examination of Pluto. Life adapted to conditions on Pluto may exist. Life from Earth could not exist there without special protective equipment. A possible exception to this statement is the Water Bear or Tardigrade, a very small crittter that can: * at 151 C * at -200 C for extended periods* at -272 C for minutes (almost absolute zero) * in a vacuum * dehydrated for at least 120 years
Yes, the seasons are caused by the elliptical nature of Pluto's orbit round the sun. In the summer period when Pluto is nearest the sun it develops an atmosphere which freezes out as it moves further away. At present (2008) Pluto has an atmosphere, it is 2/3 of its way through in its warm season and the probe launched to it has an objective of studying its atmosphere.
No Pluto doesnt have cracks on it.
Life as we know it can not exist on Pluto.
Eris is a dwarf planet that exists beyond Pluto
Pluto is a moon because it doesnt have enough gravitational pull to be a planet
it is to cold
Yes, but the difference is very small. Pluto ranges from -218ºC to -240ºC.
it doesnt
Pluto isn't a planet.... so i guess it kinda doesnt matter
limestone, sodiium, fluoride, uranium (thats why the terrorists enjoy going there), plutonium (the planet pluto landed there thats why it doesnt exist anymore), and kim jong il's remains
the dealership doesnt exist anymore and the financial company doesnt do auto loans anymore
no
it doesnt clear its path of other objects in its path
