How did Hanna know Mona was A in Pretty Little Liars?

She finds Ali's (or Courtney's i guess) diary before it goes in the trash because Maya put it on the street with the rest of her stuff. Through the diary, Mona learns about all of their secrets and learns about her being Courtney. Somehow, Mona and the real Ali contact and they decide to be A together. Ali takes over after Mona dies in book 4. It all makes sense when explained in book 8.

Oh, and you know how Jenna was blinded? Well Mona was burned by it so she hated all of the girls. Mona was on her way to Jenna's house when the firework came over. So, Mona knew about the Jenna Thing, or should i call it the Mona & Jenna Thing?

when Hannah was looking for A in Mona's party she saw Mona write on the car that aria and Mr.Fitz were in and then Mona ran away and Hannah follow her since she knew too much Mona ran over her in a car but Hannah survives but she lost the memory of who A is but MONA IS A! but when she dies in homecoming the real Alison takes over she knew everything about the 4 girls because she read the diary that Courtney kept with every secret!

Remember the first book and when Mona askes them to watch X-Factor with them, and they played "Not-it" with her. Well they treated Mona pretty bad if all not said. Therefor this was Mona's way to get revenge on the four remaining girls. Her goal was simple: Make the other girls lives a living hell. She succeeded.

Mona is the one who hit her and is also the Rosewood stalker. She hits Hanna in order to keep her indentity as 'A' a secret.
