∙ 11y agoThe Abbasids overthrew the Ummayyad Dynasty and killed every member of the Ummads on whom they lay hands. A young prince -(Abdul Rahman-1) somehow saved his life and made his way to Africa. With the help of loyal Syrian troops and Barbers (who wee his maternal uncles) he conquered Spain and established his rule in Al-Andalus.
