an angel was sent to Prophet Muhammed witch was named jebreel PBUH by Allah that told him the quran content.(The Quran is Allah's words)

AnswerThe Revelation of the book Quran Started around the year 610 CE at Ghaar-e-Hiraa (The Cave of Hiraa) when Muhammad (peace be upon him) was praying to GOD, God's Angel Gabriel took the message of God to Muhammad and told him to read, Muhammad replied that he didn't know how to read so he squeezed him in his arms and ask him again to read. it happens like this for three times, than the first word that was reveled in quran was "Iqra" means "Read" .

In 622 CE, he left Mecca with his followers (due to sufferings in Mecca and being subject to assassination plot) to a city in the north named Yathrib (later Medina), where another Muslim community had begun to grow. The date of this emigration. Thee year 622 CE, is the beginning year for the Muslim calendar.

Revelation of Quran to Mohamed continued until his death in year 632 CE.

Note: Name Muhammad may be spelled as Mohamed or Muhammed or Mohammad

He received the words of the Qur'an by reciting them over and over again until he remembered the whole thing! he then went on to spreading the words that were in the Qur'an to other people to try and make the Muslim religion bigger.

Muslims are to keep the Qur'an on top of the highest piece of furniture in the room because they believe that it is the most important thing in the room.

Prophet Muhammad received God first revelations of Quran through the angel Gabriel (Jibril) in year 610 AD while the prophet was in a cave in a mountain named Hiraa in the vicinity of Mecca (or Makkah) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

AnswerHe was in the cave of Hiraa, when the Angel Gabriel came to him. Muhammad did not know what kind of being this was. Gabriel came and wrapped around his chest and sqeezed Muhammad until he could not breath. Then, letting go of him, he said to him: "Read". Muhammad said: "I cannot read" (he was not literate). Again Gabriel sqeezed him. When he let go he said: "Read". Again Muhammad said "I cannot read". A third time Gabriel squeezed Muhammad and, when he let go, said "Read". Muhammad, almost in a panic, said "What should I read"? Then Gabriel recited the first verses of the Qur'an: "Read, in the Name of your Lord, who created. Created Man from a clinging clot (in the mother's womb). Read and your lord is most generous. The One who taught Man through the use of the pen - taught Man what he did not know before".
