The Moon has no wind, no water, and almost no moon quakes (earthquakes on the moon). There is almost nothing to cause the footprints to go away. Unless they are hit by a meteor, comet, or asteroid.
The foot prints of not only Neil Armstrong, but all of them who walked on the moon will remain for ages, the reason being that as there is no wind on the surface of the moon, neither is there rainfall, so they will not be washed out.
