10, 1836. Jane Jefferson was born on April 3, 1774, but died 17 months later.

Mary "Polly" Jefferson was born on August 1, 1778, and died from complications of childbirth at the age of 25, April 17, 1804. Lucy Jefferson I was born on November 3, 1780, but died a few months later on April 15, 1781. Lucy Jefferson II was born May 8, 1782, and died two years later on October 13, 1782.

There is still argument about how many children Jefferson fathered. One of his children- a daughter, was considered a First Lady of the US. There are claims that Jefferson also fathered children with a slave that was his wife's half sister- Sally Hemmings.
