∙ 12y agoTim Burton has been drawing all his life as well as making short stop-motion films, and after High School he attended and graduated CalArts. He was then hired by Disney to be an animator because of the success his short film Stalk of the Celery Monster. After creating the film Frankenweenie Burton was fired by Disney and instead decided to direct full length movies. After succeeding spectacularly with PeeWee's Big Adventureand Beetlejuice, Burton was hired to direct his first big budget film Batman and from there is career has continued growing.
