Tom Hanks doesn't voice Hero Boy. He just does all the actions of Hero Boy. Motion capture animation allows any type of person to play any other type of person. They put dots on you to know where your limbs are and then the computer does everything. Josh Hutcherson and Daryl Sabara voice Hero Boy.
