Asked in Friendship, Preteen Relationships, Emotions
What to do when you and your friend like the same guy and it would hurt her if she find out?
Two friends liking the same young man is not uncommon. Since you are concerned then you know a good friendship should never let a man divide them because in the end it is not worth losing a true friend, but you can lose boyfriends. Stand back and see if this young man asks her out and if not and he should ask you out then be honest with your friend if you want to date him. Beware, because often when two young women like the same young man one of the young women (without knowing it) becomes competitive and wants to see if she can win over the young man and often finds out when it's too late and there are hurt feelings by her friend that she never really loved the young man at all.
Asked in Education, Mesopotamia, History
Where did the education come from in mesopotamia?
Grandfathers of Mesopotamia were in general teachers of children. Also, children would enter an apprenticeship at an early age and learn a trade that way. Most young men of early adulthood were conscripted to military duty or used in the harder tasks such as freemasonry and temple building. If a young man was particularly favored, he was made a eunuch and served in the Temple.
