On December 7th. 1941 (Pearl Harbor day), U.S. citizens united in every way to defeat the Enemy.Millions of men dropped their jobs to inlist in service. Women took-up the jobs in factories and farms. We had boys lying about there age to inlist to fight.Children went on "scrap drives"by collecting any metal or rubber to be recycled into things for our forces. We rationed gasoline,rubber,sugar, chocolate,cloth,many things were difficult for people to buy.Everyones efforts were focased toward the war. Hollywood went crazy making War Movies. Patriotism is all about us being in the same boat and working together.Everyone shares, everyone sacrifices.Our common thread is the thread of our Flag. and the love of God.
