During both wars the united states remained isolationists until brought by outside alliances or attacked. In World War 1 we were brought into the war by the sinking of the British luxury ship Lusitania by a u- boat, and the discovery of the Zimmerman note.In World War 2 we were brought in by pearl harbor. <--------This is a stupid answer, it has nothing to do with domestic policy, it is talking about foreign policy.
** remember that during world war one, many of the immigrants were slightly rooting for their own country to win. in world war two, the entire nation is unified together in the hopes for a victory. also, think about the treatment of Japanese Americans who were living in the U.S. at the time, and how they were herded into camps, much like the Jewish, after the pearly harbor attack. the gov officials also took away every piece of property they had owned. we did nothing like this in world war one. as well as the differing treatment of immigrants, women started to work for wages (however temporarilly this lasted, it still happened) and many people moved to the cities from rural areas in search of work. and then there were all the rations and industrial manufacture changes....
domestic policies changed during world war 2 in many different ways. one way is that they had the first peace time draft in US history called the selective service and training act.
It gave americans jobs by working to make war products, which involved labor contributions. Women became involved in industrial jobs while men fought in the war. And ect.

Before World War One, the United States of America had an isolation policy. This meant that they did not involve themselves in any international affairs or wars. However after World War One, there was a massive shift in their policy and they eliminated their isolation policy.
For long years after World War II, and during the beginnings of the Cold War, the Soviet Union experienced a severe shortage of food and many other domestic goods and products simply because of ravages of the war. The 'scorched earth' policies of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union itself during the war led to widespread destruction throughout the entire western portion of the Soviet Union.
The United States proclaimed its neutrality and isolationist policies while Europe was being split up and fighting.
Most women remained at home to look after the children. Others worked in ammunition factories.

Honestly, you can not compare inflation rate of world with India's. Each country have their own currency and policies hence different rate of inflation. You could find various different inflation rations for different commodities and then compare them with India's overall inflation rates.
Yes there were, both domestic and military 2 way.
Who is the capitalist leader of the world is an easy question to answer, because the 'laissez faire' domestic policies and the democratic politico-economic foreign policies of the United States of America are well known, at home and abroad.

There's foreign and then their's domestic policies. Domestic has to do with the country, and not the world. So Domestic would be stuff like taxes, health care, Social Security. Foreign would be stuff like Iraq. Hope that helps.
