Once Jews were actually in concentration camps, escape was almost impossible. At Sobibor there was an uprising and a few hundred prisoners managed to break out, but only about 200 prisoners managed to avoid recapture. * Auschwitz - About 300 prisoners (over the whole period 1940-45) escaped successfully (out of a total of at least 1.3 million who entered the Auschwitz group of camps). * Treblinka - There was a revolt in 1943 and some prisoners managed to escape, but only about 40 were still alive at the end of the war. * Sobibor - See above.

How some Jews escapedI think some of the Jews hid away in secret like Anne Frank. But they also made fake passports and tried to escape the country. AnswerThey hid, like Anne Franke wrote in her diary, or they survived the concentration camps. A very few were able to get out of Germany to a safer place.

Some people (Luiz Martins De Souza Dantas and others) wrote illegal and forged visas to get the Jews out of the country.

It was extremely hard but if you were lucky enough you could dig your way under the fence and run for your life but if you got caught you were dead.
