It depends on the type of rock. By fire, heat (from magma and lava) are called ingenious rocks, erosion by weathering (sedimentary rocks), and metamorphic rocks, caused by heat, pressure, chemical reactions, etc.

It developed from Rock and Roll. Rock & Roll started when many different kinds of people mixed together, and they brought together their music. At first it was kind of like Country Music, but it lost the country influence as it got popular and created its own sound. From this Pop Music developed, as a kind of music for everyone, not one target audience. Eventually, People started liking more hard rock, rather then rock and roll, and rock as we know it was born.
