∙ 9y agoSeveral factors are involved in Napoleon's loss to Wellington. Delayed communication and no system in which he could be sure instructions had been received led to Ney's failed capture of Quatre-Bras. He made a poor choice in leaders who showed little initiative and failed to use their situations to the best advantage. Bad weather forced a delay due to muddy conditions and equipment malfunctioned due to the moisture. Ultimately, Napoleon was far too arrogant and underestimated his adversaries. .

∙ 15y agoThe Duke of Wellington didn't kill Napoleon. He defeated his army at the Battle of Waterloo, but Napoleon lived for many years afterwards.
