That is a very broad question. It would depend on the service man's or woman's MOS, year in RVN and unit. Obviously medical personnel lived in different quarters than long range recon patrols. Staff officers in Saigon lived in different quarters than Army advisors at Duc Hoa. Quarters were anything from single person air conditioned rooms with full baths to squad tents surrounded by sand bags. Helicopter pilots at Bien Hoa in early 1965 lived in far better quarters than those in the 1st Cav who arrived in the later part of 1965
