Before Macduff and the like discover Duncan's murder, Lady Macbeth was calm and told Macbeth to wash the blood off with water, as it if was as simple as that to remove the guilt and Macbeth's spiraling into insanity.

After the discovery, Macbeth pretends to be enraged and kills the two servants of the king (whom which he and his wife put the blame on) and admits to killing them out of rage and begins to become emotional. When Lady Macbeth sees this, she "faints" to draw attention from Macbeth to herself, so he will not dig his own grave.

Hope that helped

The First Murderer is trying to put the best gloss on the report by talking all about how completely they have done for Banquo. And Macbeth is delighted with the news. And then he asks about Fleance, saying that whoever did him in is the nonpareil. This is the question the murderer was hoping Macbeth wasn't going to ask, but since he has asked it, the murderer tells him the truth. "Then comes my fit again" says Macbeth and he is overcome with fear.

It's an interesting scene because what Macbeth is afraid of is that the witches' predictions are all going to come true and there is nothing that he can do about it. That is, he is feeling that his life is out of his control and he is afraid of that. Macbeth spends the whole play not knowing whether to bow to the inevitability of fate or to take control of his life. He waffles between them to the very end.

They very much enjoyed Macbeth as they could relate the play to current events in Elizabethan times, as they believed in witchcraft and relished fights and arguments

Why are the witches to blame for all the deaths in Macbeth?

Normally, people would not blame the witches. They just said things and Macbeth reacted by doing things. The witches can only be held to blame if you think that Macbeth had no choice in his actions. But if he had no choice, how come the witches do have a choice?

How was Macbeth viewed by his people?

People hated Macbeth because he killed the king Duncan (the king of Scotland) so that he could become the king as the witches prophecy had mentioned and then Duncan's grooms and Banquo and who knows how many more. Even if they did not suspect him of all those crimes (and we know from Lennox's speech in Act 3 Scene 6 that at least some of them did), they could not help feel the oppressive atmosphere caused by Macbeth's paranoia. He keeps a "servant fee'd" in every house to spy on people and turn them in if they grumble about Macbeth. All in all it was like living under Stalin.
