crips are oringanly dis-banned bloods. the bloods got to big, and dis-banned unloyal members. they got angry, formed their own gang. this happend around the mid 80's. it's been going on sence then.

The Crips gang started in Los Angeles, Cali in the 1960's. Their founders are Stanley ''Tookie'' Williams & Raymond Washington. The Crips gang wear the color blue, they are NOT in the Folk Nation, all Crips are in the Crip Alliance. They war with gangs in the Blood Alliance, such as the Bloods gang, Pirus gang, and Brims gang, who all wear the color red.

SIDE NOTES:

Crips wear a blue rag to the left side of their back pocket. This tradition was started when an original member of the Crips nicknamed ''Buddha'' used to wear a blue rag to the left side of his back pocket. When he died Crips carried on the tradition.
