After WWI a treaty of Versailles was signed by Germany which was force upon them by the victorious nations. This Treaty ordered for Germany to take all responisbility for the causes of the war and to pay for repairs that took place during the war.So really peace was never made after WWII but 'compromises' were made Inevitably this humiliated Germany and severley effected their economy which is why Hitler spent many years in his life dedicated to making Germany 'Great' again so he blamed problems on Jews which eventually bought round WWII. I'm not sure how they made peace after WWII

Peace was achieved by the unconditional surrender of the Axis powers: Italy in 1943 and Germany & Japan in 1945. Spain had never declared herself an Ally of Germany or Italy, preferring to remain neutral.
Germany
There were no peace conferences. Germany and Japan signed instruments of unconditional surrender, and thereafter fell under the control of the victorious powers.

Germany, Italy, and Japan were unsatisfied with the peace settlement following World War I. Germany thought the terms were too harsh and vindictive while Italy and Japan were unhappy with the amount of land they received. Both of the latter countries were expecting more land as a reward for all of their sacrifices.
