women did many things during ww1. When the man had become the soldiers during this war it was left to the women to fill their roles at home. This meant that the women had to work in factories mainly producing army supplies but, in doing so they were paid only half of hat the men were paid. When the war was over women had proved the stereotype that women can't do anything a man could do was untrue. Unfortunately the women went back to their regular jobs of taking care of the families.

women played a large role in the war. They showed men that they could do more than just clean the house and cook food. With so many men going to war, women had to take over men's jobs. Women were nurses, factory workers, they made supplies for men at war (socks, blankets). They also ate less, recycled and saved money.

they wanted to become nurses as they knew they'd be helping the injures soldiers, it gave them a sense of purpose during the war, not just letting the men risk their lives. They risked theirs aswell, they changed the opinion of women during that time period to strong and able rather than weak.

Name two women's organizations and describe their mission?

One famous women's organization is the League of Women Voters. It was founded right after women got the right to vote in the United States. Its purpose is to help American voters be better informed. The League of Women Voters is non-partisan; it provides accurate information about the positions of all the various candidates, as well as informing voters about local or national issues. The League also teaches about the voting process, so that new voters will understand how they cast their ballot.Another women's organization is Big Sisters. This organization is non-partisan, non political, and open to participants from all races and religions. Big Sisters matches adult female volunteers with young girls who need mentors. In the past, these were girls who had no mother, but these days, the girls may come from a home where there are parents but the family is being affected by poverty or a bad neighborhood or problems in the schools. A Big Sister spends time with her "Little Sister," usually on a weekend day, taking her out to fun places and being a friend and a role model.OR*National Association of Colored Women(NACW)-To improve living and working conditions for African-American women.*National American Women Suffrage Association(NAWSA)-To help women win the right to vote.

Which statement BEST describes the political rights women in early Ancient Athens possessed?

"Which" means that you were given a choice op options. Unless you add those statements, we cannot help you. Generally speaking however, a statement indicating that women were no more than the property of first their fathers, then of their husbands and that they had no rights, politically or otherwise at all, should be the right one.

What roles did women play in the Civil War?

Mainly women were nurses, but they also housed troops, spies, laundresses, vivandieres, sanitary and Christian commission workers, newspaper writers, and undercover soldiers. One ex-slave spied on Jefferson Davis by working for him as a maid! Women played a big role in the Civil War; if there weren't women nurses, many more men would have died.

What did women do in World War 1?

In world war one women did not just sit and wait for their husbands to come home... They had to take on the jobs that the men had previously done. So this involved tough roles in a factory or maybe a mine. They had to do all of this and still look after their children and their house. Some say women are the unsung hero's of World War One, because nothing would have run smoothly without them. :)

How useful are these two sources as evidence for the contribution of women to the war efforts in the war effort in the years 1914-1918?

Source f is a poster trying to get women to join up to work as all the men were at war and fighting. It is showing us that they needed workers. However it does not show you how many women joined, this is just one thing that women did to help the country in the first world war there was plenty more things women did to help. So this source is not great evidence for the contribution of women to the war effort because it only shows one job women did. The second source is way more useful it shows us a range of jobs but it still does not have some of the most valuable jobs likes VADs + nurses. Source f is basically saying 'the war is going on girls but we need you!' Source g is better than the first source because it shows us how many women joined. Women put 'votes for women' campaign to the side to help the country in the First World War. Hope that helps :D xx

What forms of nursing brings the greatest satisfaction in meeting the needs of their patients and society?

This really depends on the individual nurse. Each have their passion, and each have many specialties to choose from. What is satisfying to one may not be to another. This does not make any one of these choices less important than the other. Look below at the list of possibilities. Each nurse should pursue the area that fulfills his/her needs, wants, and desires, and with this - I believe - will promote a nurse who is more efficient, proficient, and productive which benefits the patients being served. Some specialties in nursing are as follows. Ambulatory care nurses Critical care nurses Emergency, or trauma, nurses Transport nurses Holistic nurses Hospice and palliative care nurses Infusion nurses Long- term care nurses Medical-surgical nurses Occupational health nurses Perianesthesia nurses Perioperative nurses Psychiatric-mental health nurses Radiology nurses Transplant nurses Intellectual and developmental disabilities nurses Diabetes management nurses HIV/AIDS nurses Oncology nurses Wound, ostomy, and continence nurses Cardiovascular nurses Dermatology nurses Gastroenterology nurses Gynecology nurses Nephrology nurses Neuroscience nurses Ophthalmic nurses Orthopedic nurses Otorhinolaryngology nurses Respiratory nurses Urology nurses neonatal nurses Nurse practitioners (minimum requirement of a master's degree) Forensics nurses Infection control nurses Nurse administrators Legal nurse Nurse informaticists Registered nurses (RNs), regardless of specialty or work setting, treat patients, educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients' family members. RNs record patients' medical histories and symptoms, help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, operate medical machinery, administer treatment and medications, and help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation.
