Unless you have a lift it's best to take it to a shop. I was quoted a 10 hour job for it. You will have to take off the subframe and support the engine. then take off bell housing and pull down the trans-axle etc to get to it. remember to get the flywheel resurfaced and use an entire clutch kit (throw out bearing, pressure plate, slave cylinder, etc). While you have access, check everything else in there to save yourself the labor of getting in there again.
Take it to a good mechanic. Too hard to do it yourself. Ed
with a screwdriver.
How to replace right from headlight bulb on 2000 ford contour 4 cyl...?

Yes. Easy or difficult & cheap or expensive are other matters. :)
It can be a little expensive to replace the EGR valve on the 1987 Volvo 240 DL. The job takes about 1 to 3 hours and can cost as much as about 240 dollars.
very difficult, better off saving yourself the headache and taking it to a shop
Cracked tile needs to be cut out and then replaced. This is usually done by a professional, and can be difficult by yourself.
Are there any steps on how to change the alternator on a 1198 ford contour?
Good question! I took mine to the dealership since it is under warranty still. If not, it would be expensive and difficult to replace on your own.
First check to see if the valve for the water supply is turned on. If that isn't the problem you may need to replace the tank water valve, they do wear out and are not that expensive or difficult to replace.
If you suspect the sending unit may be faulty just replace it with a new one, they are not expensive but a little difficult to remove and replace.
If your iPod Nano visibly cracked, Apple will replace it with a cost. If you prefer to replace it yourself, it is entirely possible, but it is recommended to have it replace by the professional, since it is quite difficult.
If it had a carburetor , it wouldn't be hard to replace - it's fuel injected
It's not expensive at all. Its something you could do yourself for around $15-$20. They also offer thicker batteries that replace the cover for around $50, but extends the battery use between charges.
Alot.....lol...no sorry, labour is usually the most expensive so all i can say is if you do it yourself you save yourself stacks.
Yes it's safe to drive but it will be very difficult to steer. Only drive it to a place to replace it or home if doing it yourself. They are relatively easy to replace. If you can do a brake job you can replace a pump. Just get yourself a Haynes manual.
Ford recommends 60K
You go to a mechanic.
Depending on the year, struts are around $500 to replace in the Saturn Vue. It may be more or less if you do it yourself or take it to a mechanic.
Probably best to go to a wrecking yard and pick up the cluster and replace it
Replace the shocks and struts! :-D
