It is relatively easy. However problems can always crop up and make it miserable. I spent a couple of hours searching the web for advice and tips before I started on the job yesterday. I am taking my time because I haven't done something like this in 25 years. The main hurdles are the fan clutch nut. I soaked it with WD40 over night, c clamped the old pump to a work bench, jammed a steel rod into the impeller, used a large channel lock wrench and a 4 foot long 2 1/2 inch steel pipe as leverage. Took 3 minutes to unscrew the nut. (Counter clockwise when facing the front of the fan). I am looking for the torque settings when I crossed this web page. So the ease is a matter of tools and and study or a little experience. Should you break a bolt off in the block, then your willingness to learn how to use an easy out, drill, tap, are just a part of the fun. Replace the bolts when you do get them out. Anyway I am off to find those torque settings and get the truck back on the road. Good Luck
