How do Christians go to the church?

In my opinion, they have a bath, put on nice attire, take their Bible, walk or drive to the location where the Church is at depending on the distance.

They enter the Church through one of the entrances.

Take their seat to await the Pastor, Bishop or CEO. The basket is taken around for collections, contributions and tithes - the Pastor, Bishop or CEO to Jesus Inc - must pay his bills and service his or her private jets - everything must be done to keep bums on the seats in Church venues.

The Pastor, Bishop or CEO tells them which page, which chapter and verse he or she wants to lecture them on for that Sunday on the condition that - "no questions asked - if they ask questions their faith will be in jeopardy"

At the end of the service everybody closes their Bible and goes home till next Sunday

Christians - of all stripes - go to church services because God commands us to and because we follow Jesus' example.

Approximately 6,000 years ago, God created the earth and everything in it:

Exodus 20:11New King James Version (NKJV)

11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it

Notice that God did something very special. He created the Sabbath on the seventh day by resting. God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day, blessing it for us to remember Him and His Creation. God did this because He loves us and knows, unlike the God Family, we humans need the Sabbath rest:

We are commanded by God to "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy" (Exodus 20:8). It is so important to God that we keep the Sabbath, that He set an example for us-He rested on the seventh day.

Though there are many variations in the 'rainbow coalition of Christianity,' usually all membership dress appropriately, go to a central meeting place, and hold a service (varies among sects) where the Scripture is read and discussed. Some have a 'Communion or Eucharist' service daily, weekly, or annually. This is the 'holy convocation' God commanded all to do - every Sabbath or High Annual Sabbath days.
