My answer is solely informed by my specifically Christian worldview. I suspect that most people would say that The Bible provides "moral guidelines" for living - effectively a list of "thou shall do this" and "thou shalt not do that". I take a different view - that the Bible is essentially a narrative, a "story" in which we are participants. On such a view, we should choose to act in a way that is faithful to the story, a way that carries the story forward in a manner that is at least consistent with the progression of the story up to the present point.

Are the canonical books under inspiration of the Holy Spirit? Does this question pertain to the book "The Day The Holy Spirit Blew In"? If it does, it is not an accurate question. The book has not been evaluated by an appointed group of individuals and esteemed to be Holy writings within the christian doctrines. But never less the authors Donovon Jerubaal and his wife are Christians. Donovon prayed to God in the name of Jesus and God spoke to him and his wife through dreams instructing them to write down what they see and hear. In my opinion this is under the inspiration of the holy spirit, particularly true when the dreams and the stories do not conflict Gods word within the bible.
