How do I play Team Fortress 2 with a radeon 9000 it says that I need pixel shader 1-1 to play it - can play empire earth 2 and it requires it as well using a laptop so cant get a new GPU?

1st make sure all your video drivers are installed -right-click "my computer" -click the "hardware" tab -click "device manager" -if you find any "unknown devices" install the drivers for them otherwise it isn't a driver problem 2nd check if you have the latest direct X version 3rd as a last resort download and use 3d analyze (if you find the correct combination to emulate the pixel shader 1.1 tell me because I have almost the same problem, the difference is that my graphics card doesn't support pixel shader 1.1 so I have to emulate it)
