1st make sure all your video drivers are installed -right-click "my computer" -click the "hardware" tab -click "device manager" -if you find any "unknown devices" install the drivers for them otherwise it isn't a driver problem 2nd check if you have the latest direct X version 3rd as a last resort download and use 3d analyze (if you find the correct combination to emulate the pixel shader 1.1 tell me because I have almost the same problem, the difference is that my graphics card doesn't support pixel shader 1.1 so I have to emulate it)

You can get them from the Toshiba website, but screen drivers you will have to download from either Nvidia or ATI Radeon.
You cannot use an ATI Radeon HD 3850 because it is a desktop graphics card. They do, however, have a mobile version of the same card (made for laptops) called the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3850, which you can use.
