Replace the radiator
If you mean the plastic overflow tank, replace it. If you mean the plastic tanks on either side of the radiator core, replace the radiator.
Because the plastic housing is cracked. That is what happened to mine.
Just follow the bottom radiator hose from the from the radiator to where it connects to the engine, that is where it is located, in a plastic housing
It is under the plastic housing that the upper radiator hose hooks to on the engine.
behind passenger side headlight assembly under the plastic housing
What is the question? If you mean the plastic coolant cross over, then it must be cracked. You have to replace the intake with Ford's modified one.
on the right side of the engine block you will see a plastic black housing its in there just follow the radiator hose on the top right side of radiator
On the front side of engine, follow the lower radiator hose down to block. It's in the black plastic housing.
follow the top radiator hose back to the engine. There is a plastic housing held on with three screws that should be T30 torx screws. The t-stat is under that housing.
the thermostat is located in the bottom of the engine. follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the plastic housing , this is where the thermostat is located. Now you need to drain the radiator, after draining the radiator remove the 2 bolts holding the plastic housing to the engine. They have a 10mm head on them. the housing will now come off and you will see the thermostat, it should pull right out. then just install the new one and then bolt the housing back into place and refill the radiator, and make sure you only use an original subaru thermostat and gasket. If you don't you can create more problems, including overheating and headgasket problems. Trust me I've been fixing subaru's for over 20 yrs
The water outlet is the plastic housing on the top of the engine that the radiator hose attaches to.
Could be a small hole or even be corroded. Remember it is under pressure so a very small hole will squirt out. check all rad hoses also for tightness and condition. my radiator has plastic tanks and cracked after a lean mixture of coolant froze and expanded the plastic tanks.
