You simply change the settings of your iPod to "Manual". iPod default settings are set to "Sync", which causes music to be deleted automatically from your iPod when connected to a different computer. Plug your iPod into a computer. Under the "Devices" section, you will see the settings of your iPod. Click on "Music" and change the setting to Manual.
Yes. Connect the ipod to another computer with itunes. Then when itunes pops up click "Yes" in the dialogue box that pops up. The box asks you if you want to erase the sync and make a new sync. If you don't have a computer, on the ipod go to Settings > Reset settings.
Everything on your iPod will be gone.. BUT if you leave the music on itunes you can re sync and it will return to your IPOD :D

you have auto-sync turned on iPod settings, check the "Manually Manage Music" box
You must have iTunes to do so. Download iTunes, sync the iPod with the music on and plug in the other iPod. Drag and drop the music into the iPod section. If it won't let you, change the iPod settings to not sync automatically.

Press sync ipod when the summary screen comes up and it will sync songs to it (provided it isn't from another itunes, in which case it will ask to replace your itunes library)
