The reason the light is on needs to be fixed first. Once the problem is fixed the light will reset itself once the ECM is satisfied the repair has been done and the problem doesn't come back. Have the codes scanned. The codes will help direct you to the problem.

∙ 7y agoRepair the deficiency which is causing it. Even if you reset it, it's just going to come right back if the problem continues to go unresolved.
