If you have a valet switch, just hold it in for a few seconds with the alarm off and release when it beeps or blinks the LED. You may be able to unhook the battery briefly to reset the alarm's status.

How do you bypass the viper anti theft alarm system in a 1999 Chevy Tahoe without a remote?

you can purchase a universal remote at any retailer or if your lucky like me and have a friend that has a viper alarm system that has the ability to be used on multi vehicles, example the viper 5000 you can use their remote to hop if only looking to use 1 time. Or if you are wanting all remotes erased you can do that by placing it in valet mode, which can be done by pressing your program button under your dash with in 5 seconds of opening doorand press program button 9 times if you dont have remote start and 11 if you do

How do you turn off valet mode from your valet alarm?

A visual notification that the alarm is in valet mode is the LED light is on solid. If the LED is on solid and you wish to make the alarm active again, turn the ignition "on" then, press and hold the valet/programming switch for two seconds. The LED light will turn off.If the LED light is not on solid then, the issue may be with siren itself.

Viper alarm LED stays on when I turn the car off and remote unlock and lock works but does not make the alarm chirp when I lock it or unlock it?

Your alarm system is in valet mode. To fix this problem: Unlock the car, and open the door. With the door open, and the car unlocked, press: LOCK/UNLOCK button ONCE, press the AUX button ONCE, and then press the LOCK/UNLOCK button ONCE more. When you press this key combination, the vehicle security system should begin functioning correctly again.

What does it mean setting a valet car alarm?

The "Valet Mode" for car alarms is essentially an "off" switch, for the occasion that you let a Valet park you car, for instance at a fancy hotel, casino, or repair shop. It is basically to keep the alarm from going off while someone unfamiliar with how your security system works is driving the car.

How do you reset the alarm system for a 2002 explorer?

If the security light is blinking and the remote starter does not work, it will beep twice instead. First use the panic button to set off the alarm, it will go off then stop by itself. Next put the key in the driver door and lock and unlock twice then remove. On the controller lock and unlock the doors twice to three times, just back and forth locking and unlocking. Next try the remote starter and it should start and its reset. It is now back to normal. A few things that may have gotten it to this point......someone tried to steal it, faulty remote, someone held the buttons down on the remote too long. My son used my truck and gave it back with the alarm active, he had my keys in his back pocket and probably sat on it so the buttons were pressed and activated the alarm. This only works with the original key, the secondary key used for valet parking will not work. Once the alarm is active only the original key will start the truck, the remote and valet key will not work either. This is not bypassable because the key, remote are connected to the vehicle computer with programming on the computer.

Where is the valet switch on a 2001 Honda Accord?

I dont think a valet switch was standard on the accord but for most all aftermarket alarm installs the normal place for the valet switch is under the dashboard by where your left knee would be.
