How aloe plant grow fast?

I have a 3 foot high one not really large but I am trying my hardest its main stem is 11 inches round I have used a compost mixed with black topsoil 50/50 and lots of water about one cup of water a day plus misting at first it didnt like the soil it prefers the sandy soil and almost died but snapped out of it and shot up a foot in a month.

I believe aloe produces rhizomes that extend beneath the soil from the parent plant, and emerge to begin growing a 'pup' . The new plants may be separated from the parent plant when the smaller one is about half the size of the parent.

Aloe plants reproduce by seed propagation or by self propagation. Most Aloe species reproduce by seed propagation but it is also possible to cultivate them at home.
