Yes. Bats use their ears to hunt their prey. They do not, however, have eyes.

They certainly DO have eyes, as cann be seen by viewing any picture of bats. Their navigational system is called echo-locating .They emit a high-pitched squeak and locate prey from the bounced back sound.

Owls don't have big ears. They have holes in the sides of their head that serve as ears. You may be thinking of the ear tufts that many owl species have on top of their heads... these are not their ears.

Bats use echolocation to see with their ears. They send out sound waves to see because they are blind. When a sound wave touches an object it goes back to the ears. It uses it's ears to determine if the object is food and go for the kill or Dodge the object completely

well, bats need large ears so they can hear and sense the echo's, since they use echolocation. Rabbits on the other hand need their large ears to sense predators, because they are fairly frail small animals that don't really have a way of fending of predators larger than themselves.

They use their ears to listen for the echo of their high pitched calls and use the information to navigate in the dark and to find food.

Bats can't see well escpecially since they are nocturnal; they have to screech and listen to sound waves when they bounce off of a surface. So they know they aren't going to crash in to something.

Because they mostly fly at night. They use echolocation to find obstacles and prey. They use those big ears in the echolocation.

How do bats use echolocation to hunt for food?

The bat makes a screeching sound in a pitch too high for the average mammal's ears- let alone or weakly human ears- and then the sound reflects off of other objects and bounces back to the bat's ears allowing them to detect things such as bugs or trees in front of them.
