growing breasts turns out to be small because, well, there just growing. they are pointy but not like the sarp knife pointy. the little hill like pointy. there is a big space in the middle of the two and when you wear a shirt overtop of the traing bra, i will look like two teeny tiny teensy weensy little lumps. growing breasts turns out to be small because, well, there just growing. they are pointy but not like the sarp knife pointy. the little hill like pointy. there is a big space in the middle of the two and when you wear a shirt overtop of the traing bra, i will look like two teeny tiny teensy weensy little lumps.

Every females breasts differ as far as size. Breast size is measured as a "cup size" and can range from A, B, C, D-cup or larger.

As to the medical description of breasts, first, both male and female humans have "breast tissue". During puberty, hormones trigger the breasts in human females to grow; in males, different hormones keep the breasts from growing but act on the penis and scrotum, among other things.)

Description

The breasts are two milk secreting mammary glandular organs located on the front chest of a female human. (In female animals, the glandular organs that produce milk extend from the lower chest to lower belly.) In each breast are mammary tissue that produces milk when a woman is close to delivery or after a baby is born. The breast should NOT leak fluid at any other time. The breasts also have a rich blood supply, which means there are a lot of veins running through the tissue.

The nipple is typically in the center of each breast; however, this is not an exact placement and it is possible for one nipple to be lower than the other side or to be off-center slightly. The nipple, which is a pinkish color for Caucasian females, is surrounded by a darker (pinkish brown) circle called the areola (pronounced air-E-oh-la). Some veins can show through the thinner skin of the areola, especially during pregnancy, or when a woman is producing milk to feed a baby (producing milk is called lactating or lactation).

The rest of the breast is composed of fat tissue, which is perfectly normal. However, when a woman loses weight (even a small amount of weight), she may often lose fat in the breasts first, making her cup-size smaller.

At full size, the breasts should feel soft, without lumps or harder areas. Some women develop "fibrotic" tissue, though, as they age, so the breasts may feel different when touched.

Normal breast appearance by ages

Birth to pre-puberty -- Girls and boys' breasts look pretty much the same. There is an undeveloped nipple almost flush with the skin, and a darker areola circle of skin around each nipple. There are no sex hormones produced yet, so the breasts do not develop.

Puberty (ages 10 -13 usually) -- Sex hormones begin to be secreted from other glands in the body. These hormones act specifically to certain areas of the male and female body. Breasts begin to fill out. It can take several years or more to reach the adult state.

Late teens - until pregnant -- Once breasts reach their adult size, and at the same time growth hormones have decreased, breasts remain pretty much the same (until pregnancy). Typically, breasts are higher during these age groups (some describe the breasts as "pert" or more "erect" so to speak -- versus "sagging".). If a teen-young adult puts on weight, the breast-cup size as well as the chest-to-back measurement can increase.

NOTE: From the time of first menstruation through young adulthood, the female breasts may seem more full or firm, or even hard tissue, during each month's cycle. These changes go away and come back each month, and may only last 1 to 2 weeks before a "period".

During pregnancy -- The breasts are built to produce milk. Even though milk is NOT produced right away, changes start occurring in the first trimester (first 3 months of pregnancy). The breasts may feel more full, tender, or may ache. The breasts continue to fill out or appear as a more "full figure" as the pregnancy continues. During the last month, the breasts again may feel tender and full. You may see milk glands a little through the skin. Blood vessels through the breast tissue (cup area) and both areolas may stand out more. The nipples also stand out more in preparation for a baby to nurse.

After childbirth (or, as a woman ages) -- The breasts often sag more, or seem to hang a little lower. Larger breasted women may have already had some sagging before childbirth, but sagging happens even more as we age. Sagging occurs because of one specific fact: gravity's pull over years on the muscles that attach the breasts to the chest wall. These muscles are across the flat top part of the chest, and also deep inside under the fattier part of the breast tissue. These muscles weaken over the years and cannot be improved with exercise. Many women develop "stretch marks" on the breasts and lower belly when pregnant; most stretch marks remain after giving birth. A stretch mark is a line of thinner skin; it looks shiny and slightly blue with normal skin around it.

Pre-menopause and menopausal women -- Pre-menopause includes anywhere from 1 to 7 years before periods totally stop. Menopause typically begins 6 months after the last period, after which a woman does not menstruate anymore (and is in complete menopause). At this point, the breasts have lost most of their elasticity. So if a woman puts on weight and then loses the weight, the breasts don't bounce back to a "perkier" state or to what her breasts looked like in younger years. Most women over 50 years old have sagging breasts. Sagging simply means that each breast hangs closer to the lower chest and the nipples may be pointed toward the floor (rather than straight out). Society and advertising often degrade women who have saggier breasts, but it is a very, very normal event in a woman's life. Some rites of passage cannot be avoided as women (and men) age! Because the breasts are no longer needed to produce milk AND because she is no longer ovulating because estrogen (female hormone) has dropped during pre-menopause, some women may notice one or two single hairs that grow in the areola near the nipple; again, this is a completely normal event of aging. The breasts are normally no longer tender or ache every month, nor do they feel full or fuller, as they had done during child-bearing years.

Yes they do, during your second trimester they tend to grow bigger and fuller due to the mammary glands being filled with milk. Most women change bra sizes at this point, they only go back to the same size after lactation/during the last months of lactation.

To a lot of people, they do. Not everyone is excited or turned on by a woman's breasts though. But enough people are.

How can one compare how one will look before and after breast implants?

The easiest, and cheapest, way for one to visualize what she may look like after a breast augmentation would be bra stuffing. Take some toilet paper or cotton stuffing to fill your bra to visualize what enhancement may look like. There are also a variety of websites that allow you to upload a picture and see what breast implants may look like. Buying breast enhancing bras, like the push-up or a water bra is also an easy solution that doesn't require going under the knife.
