Corn snakes like all constrictors will strike the prey to hold it in place with their teeth while wrapping (constricting) around their prey. As they prey breeths out they squeeze harder not allowing their prey to breeth in until the prey is dead from the complete lack of air. At that time they begin to swallow their prey.

I dont know..why you would want to kill a cornsnake.I love mine..but if you really wanted to...have you tried stepping on its head...cutting its head off...maybe you should tie a string around it as tight as you can....maybe ( I just thought of this)...why dont you put rat poison in a frozen/thawed mouse and feed it to him.....Im not crazy..im just answering the question...lol

In the wild corn snakes hunt for their food. They use their tongues to sense where their prey is like all snakes. When they get close to the prey they pull themselves back forming an s shape and strike clamping their jaws around the animal, they will then swallow the prey whole and begin the process of digesting it. Obviously in captivity corn snakes may loose their hunting instincts as they don't have to search for food.

Hope this helped

Coral snakes have powerful neurotoxic venom that they inject though a bite that paralyzes prey and shuts down the heart and lungs. The venom is strong enough to kill an adult human.
