How do hermit crabs urinate?

Hermit crabs do not 'go to the bathroom'. In other words hermit crabs DO NOT POO.

I have had hermit crabs, and I know they definitely don't poo.

Hermit crabs use all the energy and nutrients from their food and turn it into vitamins for the body. Hermit crabs are great pets, as there is no stinky poo to clean out!!!

You just put your Hermit Crab in a sink or bath tub and let it do it's own thing. They have spray that you can spray it with that will NOT harm it. But DO NOT put soap on your Hermit Crab.

Simply put, they grab a shell with their claws, pull their rear end out of the old shell & put it into the new shell. They then adjust as needed. This happens very fast.

A hermit crab holds on to his shell by curling his tail around the inner spiral of the shell and holding on with small clasping appendages that look like tiny fingers. When they want to quickly pull in (such as when threatened), they just go in reverse quickly & put their big left claw over the opening in the shell to block it closed.

they have a tube where there leg is and when they need to go to the bathroom they stick that tube in the sand and go to the bathroom

Hermit crabs excrete their waste by going in their shells and scooping it out into the water bowl, they make so little liquid you will never see it.
