Humans affect jellyfish by one way we seem to always forget about, though it's very present: Pollution. Oil and debris are poured into the oceans, harming this old species. Some jellyfish, that are filter feeders, will just suck in the sea water and things that are in it to provide for their nutritional needs. When doing this, they consume endangered species and other important foods to humans like shrimp and small plankton. Of course, when something is sucking in polluted water, it has polluted water inside of it and that can cause for its offspring to be deformed and for the jellyfish itself to die or become sick.
Some jellyfish are poisonous to the touch. They can be washed up on beaches in huge numbers and cause problems to swimmers and holidaymakers. The main effect they have though is to compete with fish for food (plankton). If there are lots of jellyfish, there is less food for fish. This affects our food supply, because there's less fish. And our economies, because there is less work for fishermen.
Humans cause a lot of pollution which leads to the rise in temperature of the atmosphere as well as the water (which is called thermal pollution).
bigger animals are the jellyfishes enemies.
Sea Turtle is one of the predator of Jellyfish, humans in certain country do so too but not all.
