How do i know if a person wants to be friends?

They hang out with you and don't make fun of you but if they were your enemy at one time don't trust them. They could be trying to get close to you so they can take you down. Changing subject (sort of) but you never know if they want to be just friends they could want to be more than friends. What I do when I ask someone if they have a crush on me I say to them "I over herd someone talking, I don't know who but they said you had a crush on me. Do you?" and if they say yes they do have a crush on you and you had one on them don't hold it in it's best to tell them if you like them unless they say no they don't have a crush on you, but if you are conferable telling this person that you do like them TELL THEM!!!! But if you are dealing with someone you know that doesn't have a crush on you and you don't have one on them and they are kind to you and you like to talk to them go ahead be their friend.
