Hi, Isn't there a black button all the way on the right on the dash information center which says OIL CHANGE RESET? --- Not on a Gen 2 (97-98) Mark. You need to go to the "Oil Change Reset" option by pressing the "Vehicle Settings" button, then hold down the RESET button for five seconds. The Information Display will count down while you hold it.

Disconnect the battery for about 1/2 an hour and re connect.
Disconnect the battery for about a half an hour then re connect.

The DTE is reset by filling the gas tank. If this does not reset it then the Tripminder needs service such as cleaning all contacts or replacement.
If you have a Gen 1 Mark (93-96) you just press the black button that is all the way to the right on the dash and hold it for like 5 seconds and it should reset to 100%. Not sure if the Gen 2 Marks have the same button on the dash.
